Privacy policy
We keep the site readable without an account and leave Google Analytics off unless you turn it on. This page describes the services and data flows in the current Kaspa News website.
Who runs the site
Kaspa News publishes this site from Canada. It is not operated by Kaspa.org. There is no direct contact channel for privacy requests yet; this page will be updated when one is available. Do not send identity documents or sensitive information to accounts claiming to represent us.
What is collected
Visiting a page sends ordinary web request information, such as your IP address, browser, requested page and time, to our hosting provider, Vercel. Vercel processes this to deliver and protect the site. We do not offer visitor accounts, a checkout, a newsletter or a contact form on this site today.
Our price and network panels call our own site endpoints. Those endpoints request data from external market and Kaspa network providers; a visitor clicking an external link leaves our site and becomes subject to that destination's practices.
We load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve those font files.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is off by default. If you choose Turn on optional analytics, Google can receive page views and information such as your browser, device and approximate location, and may set analytics cookies. Google may process this information outside Canada. We do not use analytics for advertising or remarketing on this site.
We save your choice in your browser. You can turn analytics off from any page's footer; this stops future tracking on that browser and clears analytics cookies we can access. Turning it off does not erase information already sent to Google.
Use, retention and sharing
We use operational request data to serve and secure the website. If you opt in, we use aggregate analytics to understand readership and improve pages. We do not sell visitor information. Hosting and analytics providers process data under their own service arrangements and retention settings; we do not maintain a separate visitor-profile database.
There is no site submission channel at present. Do not send private keys, seed phrases or confidential documents to unofficial accounts.
Your choices and requests
Analytics is optional. Use the control below or in the footer to change your choice. You can also clear your browser's cookies and local storage. We have not yet opened a channel for access, correction, deletion or privacy complaints. That limits how readers can make those requests, and we will update this policy when a working channel is ready.
Read the cookie policy for the storage used by this site.
Changes
We will update the date at the top when our services or practices change materially. New mailing lists, forms or advertising technology will need an updated policy before use.
